Drive and File access with MyApps

There are a couple ways you can access your YorkU network drives and files. One is via MyApps, the other is via a remote desktop connection.

You can access MyApps by heading to ​myapps.yorku.ca​. You may receive a Security Error when trying to reach this site. To continue, select Advanced > Accept the Risk and continue. It is recommended that you use Google Chrome to access this site.

You’ll reach a sign-in page. Sign in with your Passport york Credentials.

Using MyApps requires the installation of AppsAnywhere. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and validation.

After you’ve gained access to MyApps, locate the File Explorer app and select Remote. It will prompt you to select what program to use to open the link. Make sure AppsAnywhere is selected and click Open Link.

Eventually a window will pop up showing you a list of all your network drives. Select any one of them for file access.
